Pass history on
History, art and science come together at the Allard Pierson. This is only possible thanks to the commitment of people who share the passion for our collections with us. Through donations in the form of assets or objects, or by including us in your will, you pass on cultural heritage to future generations. What are the possibilities?

"The collections of the Allard Pierson are an incredibly valuable treasure trove of knowledge, objects, history and stories. I donate to the Allard Pierson in order advance access to the collections, research into them and to be able to learn from those collections myself.”
Gerrit van der Plas
Donating
Would you like to donate assets (other than objects)? You can do so with a one-off or periodic donation to the Allard Pierson foundation. The Allard Pierson foundation is an independent foundation that supports the Allard Pierson in the broadest sense of the word. The Allard Pierson foundation has a cultural ANBI status.

One-off donation to a specific project
It is possible to make a one-off donation to a specific project. We believe it is important that your interest and involvement specifically match what you are giving to. These are projects in the field of:
- restoration - of collections so that they can be presented to the public and made available for study
- educational programmes - our collections constitute one of the most important academic heritage collections in Europe and are an inexhaustible source of knowledge and stories for young and old, inside and outside education, for students, researchers and the general public
- online access - to make the collections accessible to everyone: researchers, students and the general public
- research - to learn more about the collections and their history
