With the Allard Pierson Fellowship Programme, we offer researchers the opportunity to conduct research on our unique and extensive collections. In this way we advance academic studies, promote knowledge exchange, and strengthen ties with academic institutions worldwide.
Each year we offer 10 to 15 fellowships. Each fellowship focuses on research on a specific collection of the Allard Pierson or on an overarching theme.
The fellowships are intended for both early career and senior researchers, from The Netherlands and abroad, for a period of 1 to 3 months. Applications for the fellowships open in June each year, with a deadline in early October. We also offer several long-term and ongoing fellowships.
