Activities for children

A weekend treasure hunt or workshop during the school holidays: there is always something fun for children to do at the Allard Pierson.

Stargazing scavenger hunt

Do you ever look at the starry sky at night? Then you are not the only one! Thousands of years ago, people were also looking at the stars. In the Stargazer Quest, you investigate how people used to think about the night sky. Solve the puzzles in the scavenger hunt using a 2000-year-old lion's horoscope, an 18th-century clock and statues of Egyptian gods.

The scavenger hunt is available at the entrance desk.
