Irma Boom book signing

This small publication (1,500 pages) was released to coincide with her exhibition at the Muji Ginza studio in Tokyo. It contains texts in both Japanese and English. You can purchase the book in our museum shop or through Dutch Museum Giftshop.

The Allard Pierson Museum manages the archive of Irma Boom, one of the most talked-about graphic designers internationally. Her innovative books form the core of this archive. The “raw” material is also typically part of a designer’s archive, alongside correspondence and other administrative records.
