Location
The address of the Allard Pierson is Oude Turfmarkt 127-129, 1012 GC in Amsterdam.
We can be reached from Central Station by tram lines 4 and 14 (Rokin stop), and by metro 52 (Rokin Station). From Dam Square, it is a 10 minute walk to Oude Turfmarkt.
Parking is possible in a number of car parks in the vicinity of the Allard Pierson: Rokin car park (Rokin 67), Kalverstraat car park (Kalverstraatsingel 451), Bijenkorf car park (Beursstraat 15) and National Ballet & Opera car park (Waterlooplein 28). Rederij Kooij has a jetty directly in front of our main entrance.
You can park your bike on the Oude Turfmarkt. There is also a large bicycle parking area under the Rokin with direct access to Rokin subway station. Access by checking in and out with an OV-chip card or bank card. First 24 hours free of charge, each additional day €1.25.
Loading and unloading is possible until 11 a.m. at Oude Turfmarkt. After that time, loading and unloading must be reported
